Mackinaw Trail Middle School students are expanding their horizons through career exploration at the Career Technical Center. Six students from 7th and 8th grade are selected to participate in monthly visits to explore a variety of career and technical education programs. During their most recent visit, students stepped into the culinary unit. They prepared delicious, authentic chorizo, beef, and chicken tacos! Although some were a little embarrassed to wear hairnets, they pushed past their comfort zones, embraced the experience, and tried something new.
