February Intersession Schedule
Looking for exciting enrichment opportunities for your Kindergarten - 8th-grade students during February Intersession?
Schools will be closed from President’s Day, February 16 to February 20th, 2026. Students in grades K-8 can participate in engaging programs that inspire creativity, learning, and fun!
Student activities are scheduled for February 17th - February 20th, 2026

To register, follow the link to create your Community Pass Account. You will then be able to register your student(s) between January 5 -19th.

Sessions
All registration for February Intersession will be done through Community Pass.
When prompted to enter your organization name, search “Cadillac Area Public Schools.”
We’re excited to share that, thanks in part to a grant, all K–5 students may participate at no cost this year. Students in grades 6–8 will pay for a portion of their activities. Families who require financial assistance for middle school students are encouraged to reach out to communityschools@cadillacschools.org during open registration.

*Please Note: Activities are subject to change.
*Your child(ren) must be registered by January 19th to participate in the February Intersessions.
Other important information:
*LOCATION: ALL K-5th graders will meet daily at Franklin Elementary from 8:10am-3:10pm, while 6th-8th grade will be at MTMS from 8:00am-3:00pm.
*TRANSPORTATION: Regular busing will NOT be running during the break. If your child needs a ride to or from the school, please call CWTA/WexExpress at (231) 779-0123 to schedule a ride each day. Please tell WexExpress that this is for the CAPS Winter Break, and they will bill us for transportation that week.
*CAPS CLUBHOUSE: If your child will be attending CAPS Clubhouse during intersession week, you do NOT need to schedule WexExpress. We have a shuttle scheduled to and from Clubhouse each day.
*MEALS: Breakfast and lunch will be provided each day. If your child is attending an activity off-site, a sack lunch will be packed for them.
*INCLEMENT WEATHER: If we are forced to cancel Intersessions due to weather, you will receive an alert the same way you do when school is canceled.
