Important Notice for CAPS Families Attending Athletic Events at Veterans Memorial Stadium
Dear Parents and Guardians,
As we continue to support and celebrate our CAPS student-athletes, we want to ensure that all athletic events remain safe, enjoyable, and family-friendly experiences for everyone in attendance.
We kindly remind families that young children must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times during CAPS athletic events. To help maintain a secure and welcoming environment, any student who does not follow the event rules and expectations may be asked to leave the stadium by an on-site school administrator.
To further support the safety and security of all attendees, beginning the week of September 22 and moving forward, the following protocols will be in place for all CAPS students attending athletic events at Veterans Memorial Stadium:
No Re-Entry: Once students enter the facility, they will not be allowed to re-enter if they leave for any reason.
Remain in the Stands: Students are expected to remain in the stands watching the game unless using the restroom or visiting the concession stand.
No Bikes, Scooters, or Skateboards: These items are not allowed inside the stadium and must be left outside the gates and away from entrances.
No Bags or Backpacks: Students may not bring bags or backpacks into the stadium.
These measures are being put in place to help maintain a safe and respectful environment for all fans, families, and athletes. We appreciate your cooperation in discussing these expectations with your children before attending events.
Thank you for your continued support, school spirit, and partnership in making CAPS athletic events a positive experience for our entire community. GO VIKINGS!
