Cadillac Area Public Schools is requesting proposals for Building Demolition & Asbestos Abatement at McKinley Elementary, 601 E. North Street, Cadillac MI  49601.  Triterra Project No. 20-2465.

The Cadillac Area Public Schools Board of Education reserves the right to accept or reject any and/or all proposals or to accept the proposal that it finds, in its sole discretion, to be in the best interest of the school district.

An optional pre-bid meeting and site walk is scheduled for October 13, 2020, 10:00 am – 2:00 pm at the subject property located at 601 E. North Street in Cadillac, Michigan, with Contractor questions due by October 16, 2020, at 5:00 pm.

 

All proposals must be submitted no later than 4:00 pm, on October 28, 2020.  Cadillac Area Public Schools will hold a public virtual Zoom meeting which is tentatively scheduled for 1:00 pm, on November 4, 2020 at https://us02web.zoom.us/j/87494412075  Meeting ID: 874 9441 2075.  Please call 231-876-5000 for the passcode.  We will not accept or consider any late bids.  All proposals should be delivered in a sealed envelope and addressed to Cadillac Area Public Schools and be clearly marked:  McKinley Elementary Demolition & Abatement Proposal.  The proposal must include a sworn and notarized familial disclosure statement and sworn and notarized affidavit of compliance with the Iran Economic Sanctions Act.  Each proposal must be accompanied by a bid bond or certified check  in an amount of five percent (5%) of the proposed contract sum as a guarantee of the proposer’s good faith.  Bids may not be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after the bid date.
