Track Reconstruction 2020

Cadillac Area Public Schools is requesting proposals to provide reconstruction to the track and field events at Cadillac High School. Proposed work includes demolition, drainage, asphalt, concrete, track surface, and fencing.


Bid documents will be available for examination and distribution on or after March 19, 2020.  To obtain documents go to


A pre-bid meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, March 25, 2020, at 11:00 am, at Cadillac High School (Track stadium entrance), 400 Linden Street, Cadillac, MI  49601.  Attendance by bidders is optional.


All proposals must be submitted no later than 2:00 pm, on Thursday, April 2, 2020 at:

Due to the COVID-19 precautions mandated by state and federal authorities, bid opening protocol may need to be adjusted, and a “virtual” type of public bid opening may be instituted. Any changes to the bid opening will be addressed in an addendum.


Sealed Bids will be publicly opened and read at 2:15 p.m.   Each proposal shall be submitted in duplicate on the forms provided and must be completed in full. The proposal shall be sealed and marked with the name of the bidder and project name.  We will not accept or consider any late bids.  The proposal must include a sworn and notarized familial disclosure statement.  Additionally, bids shall be accompanied by a sworn and notarized statement for the Iran Economic Sanctions Act Affidavit of Compliance.  Each proposal must be accompanied by a bid bond executed by a Treasury listed surety company or certified cashier’s check  in an amount of at least five percent (5%) of the proposed contract sum.  All proposals shall be firm for a period of sixty (60) days.  All required Sales Tax/Use Tax shall be included in the bid price. 


The Cadillac Area Public Schools Board of Education reserves the right to accept or reject any and/or all proposals or to accept the proposal that it finds, in its sole discretion, to be in the best interest of the school district.
