CHS Ecology Club participates in Consumers Energy Green Summit

Ecology Club Junior Rangers

Ecology Club Junior Rangers were invited with the US Forest Service to participate in the Consumers Energy Green Team Summit.  The summit, part of the West Michigan Sustainable Business Forum, was held at the at the John Ball Zoo on March 21.

The Junior Rangers presented the topic creating sustainable habitat with kids. 

The renewable team received second place from Consumers Energy Green Team organization for a team effort to create 52 to bat boxes along with the US Forest Service and the Cadillac High School Ecology Club.

The teams second place victory emphasized to the Ecology Club that even small efforts warrant the recognition of a company’s effort to create sustainable habitat for endangered species and enhance the community that they work and live in.
