Welcome to Cadillac High School

It is an honor to serve as principal of Cadillac High School. Cadillac Area Public Schools has a proud tradition of excellence in the academics, arts, and athletics. The key to this success is the strong partnership between the school, our parents and our community.  We provide enriched learning experiences in the classroom and continued learning opportunities beyond the school walls. The faculty and staff believe that when students are engaged, challenged and supported, all students will be successful.

At Cadillac High School, we are committed to maximizing the potential of each student. Success is everywhere at CHS.

Academically, we understand and cherish the concept that we must strive to meet the needs of a diverse population by creating opportunities for our motivated students while providing assistance to our students in need.  With that said, our curriculum offerings at the high school include Advanced Placement courses, college preparatory classes, career and technical classes, on-line courses, utilizing a strong career counseling and transition program, and a dedicated staff ready to ensure success on every level.

We also feel strongly that getting students involved in something beyond the regular school day is an integral part to student success.  One of the benefits of being a large high school is the number of opportunities we can offer for student involvement.  Our student clubs and organizations, performing arts groups, and athletic teams offer students the chance to be part of something positive and rewarding.

We have had many highlights and proud moments at CHS as we have been Conference, District, Regional and State Champions in Athletics.  Our Fine Arts programs (Band, Orchestra, and Vocal music) are second to none. We have industrial arts winning state medals and our 2D, 3D, and computer art students recognized in local, state, and national venues. Our musicals and plays are “Broadway Worthy” with the entire community in attendance in our auditorium. Robotics have gone to Nationals, as well.

The CHS family comprised of teachers, support staff, and administrators thank each student for their efforts and challenge them to reach higher. CAPS is preparing its students to meet the challenges of the 21st century and we welcome you to be a part of our legacy in joining us in making your child’s high school experience a meaningful and rewarding one.

Go Vikings!
